#PrestonAndProud – Steph focusses on life as a Miss Preston
Well I had an amazing weekend off. My fiancé whisked me away to The Last Drop Village spa and hotel in Bolton, where we had a lovely bottle of champagne waiting in our room with a three course Valentine’s meal to follow. It was perfect!
I even managed to sneak a little pre Miss England semi-final work out in the weekend by using the gym and spa facilities!
You may as well make the most of it as they say. Not to mention the amount of food I ate, I’m sure the gym and swim did me some favours!
In my last blog I mentioned that I could be making an appearance in the Lancashire Evening Post. Well… I can confirm that I did!
I even got a centre page spread! To check it out, visit https://www.lep.co.uk/fashion/stephanie-focuses-on-life-as-miss-preston-1-6444163.
The article was about being the kind of Ambassador that the people of Preston can be proud of.
As most of us would agree, we would all love to have more appearances with our Miss titles, however it’s not that simple.
There is a lot of hard work that goes into to creating appearances, however the article makes it clear that I will and carry on looking into as many appearances and events as I possibly can.
I want to make sure I can look back on my year as Miss Preston and be proud of what I did and the amount of effort I put into the community as Miss Preston, then I can never have any regrets!
I have also been keeping busy by writing an article for Andy Bristow’s website. There is so much hard work that goes into being a Miss, but some of the best bits are events like these, being able to promote yourself as a positive member of a community while wearing beautiful dresses and attending photo shoots! Ok so I have set my fitness targets in place. This week saw the change of my eating habits!
I am probably one of the worst people you will meet when it comes to having the biggest cravings for the worst possible unhealthy foods imaginable.
This would mean that I have to stop eating crisps for breakfast and start to eat clean!
I aim to keep this up until the Miss England semi-finals; after all I want to look and feel my best when that day comes round. I hope to make my city proud! Here’s to Preston! #PrestonAndProud
