Opportunity, opportunity, opportunity.

As Miss Lancashire I’ve had some incredible opportunities come my way these past couple of weeks and let me reassure you it’s not because I’ve been sat waiting around for things to fall into place.

Instead I’ve been using my experiences and tools in my hands to make a positive impact in the environment around me, it just so happened that by being faithful in the small things I was ready to take on something a little bigger.

So this week I’ve been working with ITV Granada reports, as a news presenter. I spent my Friday filming all around Manchester interviewing individuals and sharing my experiences as I reported on the rise of scam modelling agencies. I’m excited to confirm that the piece will be broadcasted on the first Thursday in May on the 5:30pm News.

Here are a couple of pictures:

Miss Lancashire quote of the week:

‘Turn your wounds into wisdom’

One thing I’m learning as I journey through adulthood is that no experience is ever wasted, no challenge has power over you and every lesson can enhance you’re life not decrease it.

I am humbled everyday as I meet amazing individuals who have overcome some tough battles in their lives and yet I find them asking me to share with them about my own battles, and how they have created the women I am today.

You have a choice to allow what defines you and what doesn’t – Choose to turn your wounds into wisdom!
