Miss Fylde Coast 2014 Audition Day!

Miss Fylde Coast 2014 Auditions. Miss Preston and Miss LancashireHello Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have had the best and busiest weekend for a while now and thoroughly enjoyed every minute!

Saturday 22nd I went to the Glendower Hotel in Lytham St Anne’s where I met this year’s possible contenders for Miss Fylde Coast 2014 at their interview stage to become the next Miss Fylde Coast.

This year will be an incredibly tough year for the judges; competition was so high at the interview round.  I offered my hand up to volunteer and help at the day, and I am so glad I did, I enjoyed every minute of it!

I had a good chat with each and every girl after each interview just to see how they thought they got on, re-assure them if they were worried and let them know what the next stages would be.

Channel 4 were filming the entire day so some moments were quite intense when  I was trying to settle the girls after their interviews, Nerves were everywhere, especially with a cameras pointing in every direction, filming everything about the day.

It was great to tell the girls what the next stages will be and what rounds there will be in the Miss Fylde Coast final. I also asked the girls what sort of fundraising ideas they had and how much they would try to aim to raise.

I loved hearing each idea and all of them were so different! I cannot wait to see what these girls have in store for us and what incredible amount they will raise for charity.

Lastly but not least it was amazing to be reunited with my sisters from Team North; Miss Lancashire, Miss Birmingham, Miss Cheshire & the reigning Miss Fylde Coast. We made time to snap a few pictures throughout the day and have a good catch up over lunch, where like true beauty queens, we all know how to put some food away in our bellies!

Much Love,
