If you dont succeed, try and try again!
On Tuesday the 18th I went to ‘SPACE’ (a charity) in Preston where, not only did I meet some lovely people, but I also had a photo-shoot. I put a gorgeous pink dress on and of course my crown and sash to then have a few photographs taken at the SPACE centre.
These photographs were put in the Lancashire Evening Post to help advertise the Preston Prom Show because this event had chosen to support the charity SPACE.
SPACE is an excellent charity and makes a massive difference. It is there to support disabled children and their families, which it definitely does!
After lots of time, hard work and advertising, the Preston Prom Show commenced on Sunday the 23rd. I arrived at the Marriott Hotel in Preston ready for the event at 9:30am where all the exhibitors had their stalls set up and they looked amazing!
There were so many different businesses there. Beauty and Hair salons, Sweet shops, Prom Dress shops, shoe shops, bags and jewellery shops, transport companies, tux and suit shops, entertainment companies and even an amazing photo booth!
So it was packed full of incredible shops and had everything you could need for your prom or even another event.
The day lasted until 5pm and was a great experience! I had the chance to look round all the stalls and nosey whilst also performing my role as the Ambassador of Preston Prom Show. This role was fabulous and something I would definitely do again.
During the day there was also a television company there who were filming for a upcoming documentary. I had a small interview which was really fun and challenged my confidence. I have to admit I was pretty nervous. It was worth the nerves though as I loved it!
Overall the day was great and I had such an amazing day. Thank you to all of the UK Prom Show team and all the exhibitors at the Preston Prom Show! I am going to attach as many of the exhibitors links as possible so check them out below!
Also I have got another quote I would love to share with you all this week which has motivated me to never give up and always follow my dreams. I hope you love it as much as I do.
‘I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. –Michael Jordan’
Thank you for ready my blog and I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it! Have an amazing week!
Lots of love,
