Junior Miss Lancashire and her fundraising plans!
Hi everyone! This week the Miss Bolton and Bury Finals, fundraising, creating art and planning events has kept me extremely busy!
Firstly, to the girls of Bolton and Bury, wow! Well done in the Bolton and Bury final on Saturday, everyone was just spectacular and the show was AMAZING. So much hard work and effort was put into it and it was so nice to see the girls form friendships that will last a lifetime. One of the best things about the heats is that you meet the most amazing people!
Well done to the girls who won and the girls who won the awards and everyone taking part. I hope many opportunities arise for the girls after the final! Sash or no sash, each and everyone of them have the capability to achieve amazing things and I hope they open the doors to many different opportunities.
FUNDRAISING: As you know I have my own little unique way of raising money and I have been working on my drawings and painting almost everyday! I have set up an online raffle which is all be drawing sometime next week hopefully so watch out!
STAINING VILLAGE HALL: I have spent weeks trying to organise two events; a summer fun day and a craft fair. After being rejected by venue after venue, dozens of emails rejected and phone calls declined I thought that I would never find a suitable venue however I kept on trying and it took time and I now have the perfect venue for my event on the 7th August which I am so happy about. And I’m sooo excited for my first public fundraiser.
Just a little tip for your week – keep going and persevere until you achieve what you desire and keep smiling!
Love your Junior Miss Lancashire, Ammie Shipton ️xxx
